BioBag products are environmentally-friendly alternative to regular plastic products. Our bags can be composted with food waste and other organic household waste in an industrial composting facility. The compost that is made returns essential nutrients back to the soil reduces waste going to landfill and reduces the greenhouse effect.
BioBag products are truly eco-friendly and sustainable.
That’s our commitment to our customers…and to our world.

No Leaks, No Smells, No Mess. Pop it in your Brown Bin when it’s full.

Our breathable bags and sacks are available in a variety of designs and sizes. BioBag bags and liners provide an effective barrier against bacteria, viruses, spores and mould. A BioBag keeps food waste in and stops nasties getting out.

Our bags are strong, long lasting and only need to be changed every 5 days approximately.

They are much cheaper to use and easier to store than other bags and boxes available.

BioBag recomends that you …

  • use your BioBag bags within one year of purchase
  • store BioBag bags in cool, dry place
  • don’t put hot liquid straight into a BioBag bag – let it cool first

The Convenient Way to Collect Food Waste in Your Kitchen

The BioBag MaxAir caddy is a handy little food waste bin which can sit under the sink or on a kitchen counter. The MaxAir is made from recycled plastic and will last for years. Simply line your MaxAir with a BioBag bag and when it’s full the bag can be put straight into your brown bin. Our 10 litre BioBag Compostable Liner, with a tie top, is a perfect fit for your MaxAir caddy. A roll of 20 bags should last a family of four people for up to 14 weeks*.

The MaxAir has ventilation slots on all sides, including the lid. When a breathable BioBag bag is used in the MaxAir, moisture from waste food can evaporate. This keeps the contents odour free and eliminates mould and mildew almost completely.
* A BioBag usually lasts an average family of four for 5 days before it would be full and need changing.

The bag and be put straight into your composting bin for collection and is approved by all Irish waste collection companies. As the moisture has evaporated you can reduce the weight of your food waste by up 40% making it lighter. In turn that makes it cheaper to dispose of when using the pay by weight collection process. The MaxAir caddy can be kept on a countertop or under your sink.

Food Services & HORECA

BioBag offers a wide assortment of compostable products for collecting organic waste from municipalities, commercial kitchens and institutions.

BioBag products are an environmentally sustainable alternative to regular plastic products when composted, and become a natural part of organic waste.

The HORECA industry creates huge volumes of organic waste. This waste can be turned into a resource rather than being sent to rot in landfill. Composting makes valuable, high quality soil as well as contributing to the reduction of the greenhouse effect.

BioBag products are chosen by many of the most progressive Irish companies, healthcare institutions and local authorities, amongst others. If your organisation is committed to the circular economy, BioBag would love to hear from you to discuss the solutions we can offer. Contact us on email at or call us on +353 (0) 86 7700213.
